Help Needed at the Civic League Beach Clean Up on Sunday With dunes, woodlands, farm fields, salt marshes and more, this coastal. Moms, dads, grandparents, aunt, uncles, grandchildren, children, cousins, neighbors and friends are all invited to the 4th Annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Sandbridge Beach Civic League. Featuring over six miles of unspoiled beaches in an ocean-to-freshwater bay habitat and 15.3 miles of trails, False Cape State Park is one of our favorite spots to explore for a unique glimpse into our seaside environment. The contractor for the Sand Replenishment Project moved equipment down to Little Island Park last week and has begun his work. Saturday morning we were out at Little Island Park to photograph the Sandbridge Beach Civic League’s 4th Annual Easter Egg Hunt and we captured hundreds of photos of the extravaganza that involved 8000 eggs! Sandbridge Beach Kids Hunt for 8000 Eggs at Little Island Park We have reserved a covered shelter for the day and highlights include: a picnic style lunch, a playground for the kids, games, education, networking with new and old friends, and plenty of time to enjoy the beach (the beach access leads right up to the reserved shelter).
